Rear Disc Brake Pad Inspection

Rear Disc Brake Pad Inspection

Check pad lining (1) for wear. When wear exceeds limit, replace with new one.

NOTE:

If the brake pad lining is polished with sandpaper, abrading particles will be embedded in the lining and will damage the brake disc.

Do not polish a rough pad lining with sandpaper. Replace the pad with a new one.

NOTE:

When pads are removed, visually inspect caliper for brake fluid leak. Correct leaky point, if any.
