DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.

2. Side air bag (inflator) module circuit check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "Q104" or "Q105" connector.
Disconnect "L04" or "L05" connector.
Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool included in special tool (A).
Check the following points.
- Voltage between each of "A5" and "A6" circuits and ground (DTC B1064): 0 V
- Voltage between each of "A7" and "A8" circuits and ground (DTC B1068): 0 V
Special Tool

(A): 09932-76010





Are they in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. SDM Removal and Installation
NO -
Go to Step 3.

3. Floor harness circuit check

Disconnect "L384" or "L385" connector.
Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool included in special tool (A).
Check the following points.
- Voltage between each of "A5" and "A6" circuits and ground (DTC B1064): 0 V
- Voltage between each of "A7" and "A8" circuits and ground (DTC B1068): 0 V
Special Tool

(A): 09932-76010





Are they in good condition?
YES -
Replace seat harness.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
if any DTC is detected.

- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
