DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.

2. Floor harness circuit check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L04" and "L379" connectors and "L05" or "L380" connectors.
Check the following points.
- Resistance of "A5" and "A6" circuits (DTC B1083 / B1084): 1 ohms or less
- Resistance of "A7" and "A8" circuits (DTC B1093 / B1074): 1 ohms or less
Special Tool

(A): 09932-76010





Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

3. Floor harness circuit check

Check the following points.
- Resistance between "L04-9" and "L04-10" terminals (DTC B1083 / B1084): infinity
- Resistance between "L05-9" and "L05-10" terminals (DTC B1093 / B1094): infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

4. Floor harness circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check the following points.
- Resistance between each of "A5" and "A6" circuits and ground (DTC B1083 / B1084): infinity
- Resistance between each of "A7" and "A8" circuits and ground (DTC B1093 / B1094): infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

5. Floor harness circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check the following points.
- Voltage between each of "A5" and "A6" circuits and ground (DTC B1083 / B1084): 0 V
- Voltage between each of "A7" and "A8" circuits and ground (DTC B1093 / B1094): 0 V

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 6.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

6. Power window main wire or power window sub wire circuit check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "J13" or "J14" connector.
Check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" and "A2" circuits (DTC B1083 / B1084): 1 ohms or less
- Resistance of "A3" and "A4" circuits (DTC B1093 / B1094): 1 ohms or less

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 7.
NO -
DTC B1083 or B1084: Replace power window main wire.
DTC B1093 or B1094: Replace power window sub wire.

7. Power window main wire or power window sub wire circuit check

Check the following points.
- Resistance between "J13-1" and "J13-2" terminals (DTC B1083 / B1084): infinity
- Resistance between "J14-1" and "J14-2" terminals (DTC B1093 / B1094): infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 8.
NO -
DTC B1083 or B1084: Replace power window main wire.
DTC B1093 or B1094: Replace power window sub wire.

8. Power window main wire or power window sub wire circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check the following points.
- Resistance between each of "A1" and "A2" circuits and ground (DTC B1083 / B1084): infinity
- Resistance between each of "A3" and "A4" circuits and ground (DTC B1093 / B1094): infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 9.
NO -
DTC B1083 or B1084: Replace power window main wire.
DTC B1093 or B1094: Replace power window sub wire.

9. Power window main wire or power window sub wire circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check the following points.
- Voltage between each of "A1" and "A2" circuits and ground (DTC B1083 / B1084): 0 V
- Voltage between each of "A3" and "A4" circuits and ground (DTC B1093 / B1094): 0 V

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 10.
NO -
DTC B1083 or B1084: Replace power window main wire.
DTC B1093 or B1094: Replace power window sub wire.

10. Side impact sensor check

Substitute a known-good side impact sensor and recheck DTC. Removal and Installation

Is DTC detected?
YES -
Substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. SDM Removal and Installation
NO -
End.

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
if any DTC is detected.

- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
