DTC Confirmation Procedure

CVT model

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON" and leave ignition mode in "ON" for 30 seconds.

M/T model

2) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
3) Depress clutch pedal fully for 3 seconds or more.
4) Release clutch pedal.

DTC Troubleshooting

CVT model

1. DTC check

Is any DTC other than B1125 detected?
YES -
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.
NO -
Go to Step 2.

2. DTC check

Check DTC in TCM. CVT

Is there any DTC(s) detected?
YES -
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.
NO -
Go to Step 3.

3. Transmission range sensor signal circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Disconnect transmission range sensor, "C01", "E01", "E04" and "L01" connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to transmission range sensor, "C01", "E01", "E04" and "L01" connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" circuit: less than 3 ohms
- Resistance between "A1" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A1" circuit terminal and each terminal at transmission range sensor connector: infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

4. P position switch signal circuit check

Check "A2" circuit according to Step 1 of B1126 DTC B1126.

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

5. Transmission range sensor check

Check transmission range sensor. Transmission Range Sensor Inspection

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 6.
NO -
Replace transmission range sensor. Transmission Range Sensor Removal and Installation

6. P position switch check

Check P position switch. Testing and Inspection

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace select lever. Select Lever Assembly Removal and Installation

M/T model

1. DTC check

Is any DTC other than B1125 detected?
YES -
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.
NO -
Go to Step 2.

2. CPP switch signal circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Disconnect CPP switch, "C01", "E01", "E04" and "L01" connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to CPP switch, "C01", "E01", "E04" and "L01" connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" circuit: less than 3 ohms
- Resistance between "A1" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A1" circuit terminal and each terminal at CPP switch connector: infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

3. CPP switch (for cruise control) signal circuit check

Disconnect CPP switch (for cruise control) connector.
Check for proper terminal connection to CPP switch (for cruise control), "E04" and "L01" connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A2" circuit: less than 3 ohms
- Resistance between "A2" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A2" circuit terminal and each terminal at CPP switch (for cruise control) connector: infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

4. CPP switch check

Check CPP switch. CPP Switch Inspection and Adjustment

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
Replace CPP switch. CPP Switch Removal and Installation

5. CPP switch (for cruise control) check

Check CPP switch (for cruise control). CPP Switch (for Cruise Control) Inspection

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace CPP switch (for cruise control). CPP Switch (for Cruise Control) Removal and Installation
