DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Start engine.
2) Stop engine.
3) Repeat Step 1) and 2) once.

DTC Troubleshooting

NOTE:

This DTC might be detected when battery is run down or the voltage is very low.

1. DTC check

Is DTC B1125 detected together?
YES -
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.
NO -
Go to Step 2.

2. Fuse check

Check "ST" fuse.

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Replace "ST" fuse.

3. Starting motor control relay check

Check starting motor control relay. Testing and Inspection

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Replace starting motor control relay.

4. Starting motor control relay signal circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Disconnect "C01", "E01", "E04" and starting motor connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to "C01", "E01", "E04" and starting motor connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" circuit: less than 3 ohms
- Resistance between "A1" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A1" circuit terminal and each terminal at starting motor control relay connector: infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
