DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.

2. Floor harness open check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L04" and "L43" connectors or "L05" and "L44" connectors.
Check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" and "A2" circuits (DTC B1392 / B1393): 1 ohms or less
- Resistance of "A3" and "A4" circuits (DTC B1397 / B1398): 1 ohms or less
Special Tool

(A): 09932-76010





Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
B1393: Replace floor harness.

3. Floor harness circuit check

Check the following points.
- Resistance between "L04-11" and "L04-12" terminals (DTC B1392 / B1393): infinity
- Resistance between "L05-11" and "L05-12" terminals (DTC B1397 / B1398): infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

4. Floor harness circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check the following points.
- Resistance between each of "A1" and "A2" circuits and ground (DTC B1392 / B1393): infinity
- Resistance between each of "A3" and "A4" circuits and ground (DTC B1397 / B1398): infinity

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

5. Floor harness circuit check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check the following points.
- Voltage between each of "A1" and "A2" circuits and ground (DTC B1392 / B1393): 0 V
- Voltage between each of "A3" and "A4" circuits and ground (DTC B1397 / B1398): 0 V

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 6.
NO -
Replace floor harness.

6. Side air bag sensor (rear) check

Substitute a known-good side rear impact sensor and recheck DTC.

Is DTC detected?
YES -
Substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. SDM Removal and Installation
NO -
End.

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
if any DTC is detected.

- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
