DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Start engine and operate A/C system.

DTC Troubleshooting

1. Scan tool parameter check

Check "Cabin Temperature" using "Data list" mode on SUZUKI scan tool. Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

Is temperature below -40 °C (-40 °F)?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Intermittent trouble.

2. Inside air temperature sensor signal circuit check

Disconnect inside air temperature sensor connector.
Connect "LT GRN/RED" and "LT GRN/BLK" wire terminals of inside air temperature sensor connector using service wire.
Check "Cabin Temperature" using "Data list" mode on SUZUKI scan tool. Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

Is temperature below -40 °C (-40 °F)?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Replace inside air temperature sensor. Inside Air Temperature Sensor Removal and Installation

3. Inside air temperature sensor signal circuit check

Connect "LT GRN/RED" and "LT GRN/BLK" wire terminals of "G20" connector using service wire.
Check "Cabin Temperature" using "Data list" mode on SUZUKI scan tool. Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

Is temperature below -40 °C (-40 °F)?
YES -
Replace HVAC control module and recheck DTC. HVAC Control Module Removal and Installation
NO -
"LT GRN/RED" or "LT GRN/BLK" wire open.
