DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Start engine and operate A/C system.

DTC Troubleshooting

1. DTC check

Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON" and check DTC.

Is DTC B1540 still detected?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Intermittent trouble.

2. Battery voltage supply circuit check

Disconnect auto A/C panel connector.
Measure voltage between "WHT" wire terminal of auto A/C panel connector and ground.

Is voltage 10 - 14 V?
YES -
Replace auto A/C panel. HVAC Control Module Removal and Installation
NO -
- Repair or replace defective wire harness.
- "DOME" fuse blown.
