DTC Troubleshooting

1. DTC check

Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check DTC. DTC Check

Is DTC B1855 still detected?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection

2. LIN communication circuit check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect combination meter and parking sensor system control module connectors.
Check for proper connection to combination meter and parking sensor system control module terminals.
If connections are OK, check circuits between combination meter connector and parking sensor system control module connector for open circuit, short to ground or short to power supply.

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Replace parking sensor system control module and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
Replace combination meter if DTC B1855 is still detected. Service and Repair
NO -
Repair LIN communication circuit.
