DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "ESP(R) System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to ESP System Check ESP(R) System Check.

2. DTC check for ESP(R)

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC.
Push engine switch to change the ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
Check DTC.

Is there DTC(s) other than C1051, C1017 and C1023?
YES -
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO -
Substitute a known-good ESP(R) control module and recheck DTC. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
