DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "ESP(R) System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to ESP System Check ESP(R) System Check.

2. DTC check

Perform DTC Check DTC Check.

Is there DTC(s) other than C1074 or C1075?
YES -
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO -
Go to Step 3.

3. Sensor calibration

Calibrate all sensors. Programming and Relearning

Is sensor calibration completed?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Replace steering angle sensor. Steering Angle Sensor Removal and Installation

4. Clear all DTC(s) and check DTC.

Is DTC C1074 and/or C1075 still detected?
YES -
DTC C1074: Substitute a known-good ESP(R) control module and recheck DTC. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
DTC C1075: Replace steering angle sensor and recheck DTC. Steering Angle Sensor Removal and Installation
NO -
Calibration was incomplete.
