DTC C1250 / C1251
DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area
Circuit Diagram
DTC Confirmation Procedure
1) Clear DTC.
2) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
3) Check DTC.
DTC Troubleshooting
1.
Was "4WD control system check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to 4WD Control System Check 4WD Control System Check.
2. Coupling air temperature sensor signal circuit and coupling air temperature sensor ground circuit check
Disconnect "L14" and coupling air temperature sensor connectors with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF".
Check for proper terminal connection to "L14" and coupling air temperature sensor connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A1" and "A2" circuits: less than 1 ohms
- Resistance between "A1" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A1" circuit terminal and other terminal at coupling air temperature sensor connector: infinity
- Voltage of "A1" circuit: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")
Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
3. Coupling air temperature sensor check
Check coupling air temperature sensor. Coupling Air Temperature Sensor Inspection
Is it in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace coupling air temperature sensor. Coupling Air Temperature Sensor Removal and Installation
