DTC P0602

DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

NOTE:

After reprogramming of TCM is executed, if the DTC P0602 is indicated, it is possible that the reprogramming of TCM is not completed correctly.






DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON" and leave ignition mode in "ON" for 10 sec.

DTC Troubleshooting

1. DTC recheck

Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Perform DTC confirmation procedure, and check DTC.

Is DTC P0602 still detected?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Check for intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection

2. TCM reprogramming check

Was reprogramming of TCM executed?
YES -
Execute reprogramming of TCM correctly once again.
NO -
Go to Step 3.

3. TCM power supply and ground circuits check

Check TCM power supply and ground circuits. TCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
