DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
2) Check that the following conditions are met.
- Blower fan: ON
- Headlight switch: ON
- Rear defogger switch: ON
3) Run engine at idle speed for 5 min. and confirm that the following conditions are met.
- Blower fan: OFF
- Headlight switch: OFF
- Rear defogger switch: OFF
4) Run engine speed at 4,000 rpm and keep it for 30 sec.

DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Engine and Emission Control System Check Engine and Emission Control System Check.

2. Generator field coil measured signal circuit check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "C01", "E01" and generator connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to "C01", "E01" and generator connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "B1" circuit: less than 1 ohms
- Resistance between "B1" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance of between "B1" circuit terminal and each terminal at generator connector: infinity
- Voltage of "B1" circuit: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

3. DTC recheck

Repair or Replace generator. Generator Removal and Installation
Check DTC.

Is DTC P0625 or P0626 still detected?
YES -
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
End.
