Rear Seat Belt Removal and Installation

WARNING:

- Failure to take proper precautions when servicing seat belt components may result in personal injury.
Be sure to read Service Precautions Precautions for Service and Diagnosis of Seat Belt
before starting service operations and follow all of the instructions provided.
- Pay attention to the following point referring to Components Rear Seat Belt Components
when replacing the rear seat belt. Otherwise, the rear seat belt may not work properly and injury in case of collision.
Tighten rear seat belt bolts in numerical order.

Removal

Rear Seat Belt Inspection
1) Remove seat cushion assembly. Components
2) Remove bolster. Rear Bolster Removal and Installation
3) Remove rear seat belt bolts. Components
4) Remove rear seat belt.

Installation

Rear Seat Belt Inspection

Reverse removal procedure, noting the following points.

- Insert positioning plate (3) on retractor side to notch on body side when installing retractor (1).





- Do not step on vehicle bead (2) when installing anchor plate (1).





- Tighten rear seat belt bolts in the numerical order to specified torque. Components
