Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT NOTES- Always replace the o-ring when replacing the seal.
- Inspect the crankshaft pulley for a groove where the seal lip rides.
- The new replacement seal may be thinner than the one you are removing. This is so that the seal lip will not sit in the same groove.
Torque:
"a" bolt: 18 ft. lb. (25 Nm)
"b" bolts: 14 ft. lb. (19 Nm)
"c" bolts: 9 ft. lb. (13 Nm)
Crankshaft pulley bolt: 116 ft. lb. (157 Nm)
