SUBJECT: CONVERSION OF REPAIR MILES ON CANADIAN VEHICLES


To reduce the occurrence of mileage discrepancy problems on Canadian vehicles, TMS Warranty would like to remind dealers that kilometers must be converted to miles before they are entered on a warranty claim.

Kilometers may be converted to miles by multiplying by a conversion factor of .62

Example:

Kilometers X Conversion Factor = Miles

5,000 Kilometers X .62 = 3,100 Miles
