SUBJECT: GLASS RETENTION AND PARTS RETURN REQUIREMENTS


In response to questions from dealers regarding glass retention and parts return requirements, please be advised of the following:

^ Glass removed in the performance of a warranty repair must be retained for a period of 60 days from the payment notification date. The yellow Warranty Parts Tag (00404-01950-01) must be completed and attached to the glass.

^ Glass is included in the Dealer Parts Return Program.

- Upon receipt of a Parts Return Request, the computer-printed blue-colored Warranty Parts Tag should be attached to the glass and the original (white copy) of the Dealer Parts Return Summary Sheet should be enclosed in the shipping carton. Care should be taken to wrap and package the glass to avoid damage in transit.

- Warranty claims for which the requested parts are not received within 60 days from the request date indicated on the Dealer Parts Inspection Summary Sheet will be charged back to the dealer.
