Oil Pump Replace

3A-C ENGINE

1. Raise and support vehicle, then drain engine oil and coolant.
2. Remove radiator assembly.
3. Remove engine under cover, then the four bracket attaching bolts and lower stabilizer.
4. Remove right and left stiffener plates.
5. Remove oil pan attaching bolts, then the oil pan using a suitable tool. Use caution not to damage oil pan flange.
6. Remove oil strainer attaching bolts, then the oil strainer and gasket.
7. Remove timing belt and crankshaft timing pulley. Refer to ``Timing Belt, Replace'' for procedure.
8. Remove oil dipstick and tube.
9. Remove oil pump attaching bolts, then the oil pump.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
