EFE Heater: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect electrical connector to element and connect ohmmeter between element terminal and intake manifold.
2. At 68°F, meter should indicate 0.35-1 ohm for ND type elements or 0.5-2 ohms for TDK type element.
3. If resistance is not within specifications, heating element is defective.
