TO: ALL REGION/PRIVATE DISTRIBUTOR GENERAL MANAGERS June 26, 1987SUBJECT: SPECIAL SERVICE CAMPAIGN - # H03 1983 - 1986 TERCEL, COROLLA 1983-1/2 - 1985 CAMRY 1984 - 1985 VAN
As previously announced, Toyota will conduct a Special Service Campaign for the above mentioned models to inspect, and if necessary, replace the igniter assembly.
Attached please find the dealer notification package. The dealer notification package has been sent to all dealers. Owner notifications will commence from July 31, 1987 as previously communicated. In the interim period, if any affected vehicle experiences an igniter problem, dealers should respond to those owners by completing repairs as SSC H03 and submit claims as indicated in the dealer's package.
Please review this information with your staff to ensure that this campaign is conducted in an efficient manner with the least possible inconvenience to Toyota owners.
