Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Using a wrench, slowly loosen the Fuel Pulsation Damper from the rear end of the RH fuel rail.

Fuel Rails With Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper:

3. If the fuel system is still under pressure, take care to prevent personal injury by spraying fuel.
4. Remove the FuelPulsationn Damper along with the two mounting gaskets.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install the Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper with new gaskets.
2. Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten.
3. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
4. Start engine and check for fuel leaks.
