Intercooler: Testing and Inspection

1. Visually inspect the Intercooler for structural damage.
2. Remove the three bolts and protector from the Intercooler.

Removing Protector From Intercooler:

3. Disconnect the two air hose clamps, remove the two mounting bolts and remove the Intercooler from the engine.

Removing Intercooler From Engine:

4. Using compressed air, blow through Intercooler air inlet and ensure that no restrictions exist.
5. If a problem is found and the Intercooler cannot be repaired, replace the Intercooler.
6. Reinstall the Intercooler on the engine.
