Wastegate: Testing and Inspection

The Wastegate Valve is an internal component in the Turbocharger assembly. Refer to WASTEGATE ACTUATOR and TURBOCHARGER testing procedures for component diagnosis. If a malfunction of the Wastegate Valve is indicated, (sticking/leaking seat or damaged valve), replace or rebuild the Turbocharger assembly.
