Removal

1. Disconnect cable from negative terminal of battery.

CAUTION: Work must be started after approx. 20 seconds or longer from the time the ignition switch is turned to the "LOCK" position and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.

2. Remove RH engine under cover.
3. (A/T) Remove RH and LH engine under covers.
4. Drain engine coolant.
5. Disconnect water temperature switch connector.
6. (with ABS) Disconnect ABS control relay from radiator.
7. Disconnect engine relay box from battery.





8. Remove the seven clips and three screws and remove the upper radiator support seal.
9. Disconnect electric cooling fan connector.





10. Disconnect coolant reservoir hose.
11. Disconnect radiator hoses.





12. (A/T) Disconnect oil cooler hoses.





13. Remove radiator and electric cooling fan.
a. Remove the two bolts and two upper Supports.
b. Lift out the radiator.

c. Remove the two lower radiator supports.





14. Remove the three bolts and separate the radiator and electric cooling fan.
