Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE
- Disconnect battery negative terminal.
- Place a towel or container below the cold start injector to catch the spilled gasoline.

Removing Cold Start Injector Union Bolt:

- Slowly loosen the union bolt for the fuel delivery pipe at the cold start injector

- After fuel pressure is released, re-tighten union bolt.
Torque: 13 ft.lbs. (18 Nm)

- Wipe off any splattered gasoline.
- Reconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
