Front Wheel Drive Models
Prior to checking and resetting rear wheel alignment, check tire pressure to ensure it is correct, check wheel bearings for looseness and correct as required, then check wheel runout wit a dial indicator. Wheel runout should not exceed 0.039inch (1.0 mm).CAMBER
Measure camber angle with suitable wheel alignment gauge and adjust to specifications. If reading is not within specification, check for worn or damaged bushings, bent or damaged rear suspension components and replace as required.
TOE-IN
1. Measure distance between inner wheel rim and center of lower suspension arm cam bolt. Distance should be identical for both wheels.
2. Place mark on rear center of each rear tire tread and mark center of cam bolt.
3. Move vehicle forward until mark on rear center of the tire tread is rotated to front center of the wheel. Measure distance between mark and center of cam bolt and adjust to specifications.
4. If toe-in is not within specification, rotate cam bolt(s) until specification is obtained. Toe-in will change about 0.08 inch (2 mm) with each graduation marked on cam.
