TITLE AVAILABILITY OF ANTI-CHIPPING PROTECTORS FOR 1990 CELICA MODELS


To enhance stone chipping performance on the 1990 Celica, transparent anti-chipping protectors have been made available through the Toyota parts supply system.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

^ Clean the paint surface with a wax, grease and silicone remover according to the instructions on the label of the container.
Note: The presence of wax, grease or silicone on the painted surfaces will prevent the protectors from adhering properly.

^ After the anti-chipping protector has been removed from the backing material, apply a liberal amount of clean tap water to the back side of the protector. This measure will facilitate the removal of air bubbles or wrinkles between the body/bumper and the protector.

^ Apply the protectors to the paint surface while working the bubbles to the edges with a plastic squeegee.
Note: For easier application, the ambient temperature of the body surface and the surrounding area should be between 60~-90~ F.
