Oil Pump Replace

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Scribe hood installation alignment marks, then remove hood.
3. Drain engine oil.
4. Remove timing belt, idler pulley and crankshaft timing pulley as outlined previously.
5. Remove oil dipstick and dipstick guide.
6. Remove front exhaust pipe.
7. Remove center mount and stiffening plate.
8. On 4A-GE engines, remove flywheel housing undercover.
9. On all models, disconnect oil cooler hose and union from oil pan.
10. Remove oil pan attaching nuts and bolts, then remove pan.
11. Remove oil strainer.
12. On 4A-GE engines, remove oil baffle plate.
13. On all models, remove oil pump attaching bolts, then remove.
14. Reverse procedure to install.
