INSPECT AIR MIX CONTROL SERVOMOTOR
(Motor Operation)

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6, check that the lever moves smoothly from HOT to COOL.





2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 5 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, check that the lever moves smoothly from COOL to HOT.

If operation is not as specified, replace the motor.





(Position Sensor Operation)

1. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 3.

Resistance: Approx. 6k Ohms

2. Set the arm to COOL position.
3. Check that the resistance between terminals 1 and 4 decreases from approx. 4.8k Ohms to 1.2k Ohms, when the arm is rotated from COOL to HOT position.

If operation is not as specified, replace the motor.
