Neutral Safety Switch: Adjustments

Fig. 3 Neutral Start Switch Adjustment:

1. Loosen neutral safety switch attaching bolts.
2. Place selector lever in Neutral position.
3. Disconnect electrical connector.
4. Align groove in with neutral basic line, Fig. 3.
5. Tighten switch retaining bolts to specifications to secure adjustment.
6. Reconnect electrical connector to switch, then ensure engine starts with selector lever in ``N'' and ``P'' only.
