Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Fig. 2 Throttle Cable Adjustment:

1. Hold accelerator pedal in fully depressed position, then loosen cable adjusting nuts, Fig. 2.
2. Adjust cable to obtain .040 inch between end of boot and stopper on cable, then tighten adjusting nut.
3. Fully depress accelerator pedal and recheck adjustment, then road test vehicle.
