Removal of Parking Lock Cable

REMOVAL OF PARKING LOCK CABLE

1. Remove rear and front console box.
2. Remove engine hood release lever. lower finish no.1 panel and steering column covers.





3. Remove parking lock cable from shift lever assembly.
(a) Using a small screwdriver, unlock the slide key of the parking lock cable.





(b) Remove clips A and B of the parking lock cable.
(c) Remove the parking lock cable from the shift lever assembly.

4. REMOVE PARKING LOCK CABLE FROM KEY CYLINDER





(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the cable from the key cylinder.





(b) Remove the parking lock cable from clamps A and B.
