Fig. 1 Exploded View Of Disc Brake Assembly.:

1. Raise and support vehicle and remove tire and wheel assembly.
2. Remove caliper slide pin on main pin side, Fig. 1. Do not remove caliper slide pin on the subpin side unless necessary.
3. Lift up caliper and suspend out of way so that brake hose is not stretched.
4. Remove pads, anti-squeal shims and the pad support plate.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torquing caliper slide pin to 65 ft. lbs.
