Disassembly and Reassembly

1. Remove caliper as previously described.
2. Using compressed air, remove piston from caliper, keeping fingers clear of piston.
3. Remove piston seal from caliper.
4. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to piston and caliper, caliper boot and piston seal, slide pin, inner surface of mounting main pin and boot groove, outer surface of pin boot, sliding bushing and pin boot.
5. Install piston seal in caliper.
6. Install piston and caliper boot as follows:
a. Install caliper boot in piston.
b. Install caliper boot ridge into caliper groove.
c. Push in piston.
d. Install caliper boot ridge into piston groove.
7. Install pin boot on main pin side.
8. Using plastic bar, install caliper slide bushing on subpin side.
