Thermostat: Service and Repair

Thermostat:

1. Drain engine coolant.
2. Remove thermostat housing, then thermostat.
3. Install a new gasket to the thermostat.

Installation Of Thermostat:

4. Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve facing upward as shown in the illustration, and water outlet with the two bolts.

Torque: 69 in/lb. (7.8 Nm)
