Valve Clearance: Adjustments

1. With No. 1 piston at TDC on compression stroke (ensure No. 1 lifters cylinders are loose and No. 6 cylinders lifters are tight), adjust the following cylinders valves to specification:

No. 1 Intake & Exhaust
No. 4 Intake
No. 5 Exhaust

2. Turn crankshaft in normal direction of rotation 2/3 turn, (240°), (ensure No. 3 cylinders lifters are loose) and adjust the following cylinders valves to specifications:

No. 3 Intake and Exhaust
No. 5 Intake
No. 6 Exhaust

3. Turn crankshaft in normal direction of rotation an additional 2/3 turn, (240°), (ensure No. 2 cylinders lifters are loose) and adjust the following cylinders valves to specifications:

No. 2 Intake and Exhaust
No. 4 Exhaust
No. 6 Intake
