Fuel Injector Resistor: Description and Operation
Solenoid Resistor Circuit Schematic:
The Injector Solenoid Resistor, located on the LH side of the engine compartment, is a series resistor block that lowers the input current to the injectors. Each injector has its own power resistor that measures 4 - 6 Ohms and merely serves to stabilize current. The case is finned for maximum heat dissipation.
