1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel, then the steering column covers.
3. Remove rear console box, console box rear end panel, then the front console box, Fig. 9.
4. Remove engine hood release lever and light control rheostat, then the instrument finish lower panel retaining screws and lower panel.
5. Remove instrument cluster finish center panel.
6. Remove instrument cluster panel.
7. Remove combination meter retaining screws, disconnect speedometer and electrical connectors, then remove combination meter.
8. Remove cigarette lighter, radio and stereo, disconnect electrical connectors and antenna.
9. Remove heater control panel.
10. Remove the glove compartment door, then the glove compartment door reinforcement.
11. Remove the four bolts and three dash panel retaining screws, then the dash panel.
12. Reverse procedure to install.
