1. Unplug the wire connectors from the CMH relay, (located near the wiper motor).
2. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 2 of the black plug. Fig. 64
3. Check that there is NO continuity between terminals 3 and 4 of the blue plug.

4. Apply battery current to terminals 1 and 2 of the black plug.
5. Check that there is continuity between terminals 3 and 4 of the blue plug. Fig. 65
6. If a problem is found, replace the CMH relay.
7. Reconnect plugs to the CMH relay.
