Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel pad.
3. Place alignment marks on steering wheel and mainshaft for assembly reference.
4. Remove nut attaching steering wheel to steering shaft.
5. Using a suitable puller, remove steering wheel.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering wheel attaching bolt to 34 ft. lbs.
