Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE RIGHT FRONT FENDER LINER
2. REMOVE A/C TUBE CLAMP BRACKET BOLT
3. REMOVE PS HOSE CLAMP BOLT





4. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINES
Using Special Service Tools (SST), disconnect the 6 brake lines from the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) actuator.
SST 09751-36011
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.)





5. DISCONNECT CONNECTOR
Pull out the release bar, and disconnect the connector.
6. REMOVE ABS ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and ABS actuator assembly.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
7. REMOVE ABS ACTUATOR
a. Remove the 2 nuts and ABS actuator.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 inch lbs.)
b. Remove the 2 holders and 3 cushions from the ABS actuator.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
AFTER INSTALLATION, FILL BRAKE RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID, BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM, AND CHECK FOR LEAKS.
