Mute Signal Circuit
MUTE SIGNAL CIRCUITCIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a mute signal to the stereo component amplifier. This has the effect of keeping sound from being produced even when the sound source changes.
In addition, this circuit is used to mute the sound when the navigation system performs a voice guide.
If there is an open in the circuit, sound can be heard from the speaker when changing the sound source.
When the vehicle is equipped with the navigation system, audio sounds keeps coming out from the speaker on the driver's side while the voice navigation is in operation.
If there is a short in the circuit, either extremely quiet sound will be produced, or no sound will be produced
at all.
