Rear Seat (TMMK Made)

OVERHAUL

HINT:
- The installation is the reverse order of the removal.
However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.
- On the RH side, use in the same procedure as on the LH side.




1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Holding up the front end of the cushion assembly, disengage the clips and pull out the cushion assembly forward to remove it.

A: 100 mm (3.94 in.)

NOTE: The cushion frame will be deformed unless holding the clips around the roots.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Tilting the seat forward, remove the 2 clips that are engaged with the floor.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seat back assembly.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY LH




6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the bolt and pull it out in the illustrated direction to remove the side seat back assembly.

7. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY LH
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK HINGE COVER
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the bolts and the rear seat armrest assembly center.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE CENTER
11. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL

12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER RH




a. Disengage the back cover side, and then turn up the rear-seat back carpet.
b. Remove rear seat back lock release button




c. Remove rear seat back stop button grommet
d. Remove the hog rings, and hold up the seat back frame to remove the 2 headrest supports
e. Remove the rear seat back cover together with the seat-back pad.
f. Remove the hog rings, and then take away the cover from the rear seat back pad.

13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seat back lock assembly RH.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
16. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER




17. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the hog rings.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.




18. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the hog rings.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

19. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER RH
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the hog rings.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

b. Using hog ring pliers, install the hog rings.

20. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Install the rear seat back hinges center with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (183 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

21. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the 2 rear seat back hinge with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (183 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

22. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY LH

Torque: 18 N.m (183 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

23. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear side seat back assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (183 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

24. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear seat back assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (183 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

25. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the rear side seat back assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 N.m (183 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
