Rear Seat Assembly:






OVERHAUL

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- A bolt without a torque specifications is shown in the standard bolt chart.




1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Pull up the 2 front portions of the seat cushion and remove it.
A: 100 mm (3.94 in) or less

NOTE: In this case, hold the base of the clip up to prevent the cushion frame from being distorted.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (RH)
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (LH)
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Tilting the seat forward, remove the 2 clips that are engaged with the floor.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback.

5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.




6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the bolt and pull it out in the illustrated direction to remove the side seatback.

7. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the bolt and rear seatback hinge.

9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the bolt and rear seatback hinge.

10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the bolt and rear seatback hinge.

11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER
12. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the bolts and the rear seat armrest assembly center.

13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL RH
a. Remove the screw and the bezel.




14. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH
a. Disengage the seatback cover side, and then turn up the rear seatback carpet.
b. Remove the rear seatback lock release button.




c. Remove the rear seatback stop button grommet.
d. Remove the hog rings, and hold up the seatback frame to remove the 2 headrest supports.
e. Remove the rear seatback cover together with the seat-back pad.
f. Remove the hog rings, and then take away the cover from the rear seatback pad.


15. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE CENTER
a. Remove the 2 screws and belt guide.

16. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL LH
17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

18. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock.

19. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock.

20. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover.




21. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.




22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER RH
a. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

b. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

23. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER LH
a. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

24. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Install the rear seatback hinges with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

25. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear seatback hinges with the bolt.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

26. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the rear seatback hinges with the bolt.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

27. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear side seatback with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

28. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the rear side seatback with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

29. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the rear seatback with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

30. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the rear seatback with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

31. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
