Back Door (Hatchback)

ADJUSTMENT




1. ADJUST DOOR IN LEFT/RIGHT AND VERTICAL DIRECTIONS
Adjust the door by loosening the door side hinge bolts.

Torque: 11.5 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)

2. ADJUST DOOR IN FORWARD/REARWARD AND VERTICAL DIRECTIONS
a. Remove the 3 clips and rear part of roof headlining.




b. Adjust the door by loosening the body side hinge nut.

Torque: 11.5 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)

3. ADJUST DOOR LOCK STRIKER




a. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

HINT: Tape the clip remover tip before use.

b. Using a screw driver, disengage the 4 claws and floor finish plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




c. Check that the door is fit and door linkages are adjusted correctly.
d. Adjust the striker by loosening the striker mounting screws.

Torque: 11.5 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)

e. Using a plastic hammer, tap the striker to adjust.
