Headlight (Sedan)

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 3 bolts.




b. Using a screwdriver, pry up the inner bracket.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

NOTE: At the time of installation, push down the bracket to its original position first, then, install the headlight.

c. Pull the headlight assembly forward.
d. Disconnect the connectors.
e. Remove the headlight assembly.
f. Remove the other headlight using the same procedures described above.






HINT: If the part indicated in the illustration is damaged, use the headlight protector retainer (supply part) to install the headlight to the body.




- Cut off the retainer at the base of the housing, as shown in the illustration.
At the time of installation, after pull down the bracket and install the headlight assembly.




- Install the headlight protector retainer lower (supply parts) to the boss of the housing with the screws.






HINT: If the part indicated in the illustration is damaged, use the headlight protector retainer (supply parts) to installing the headlights to the body.




- Cut off the retainer at the base of the housing, as shown in the illustration.
At the time of installation, after pulling down the bracket, install the headlight assembly.




- Install the headlight protector retainer upper(supply part) to the boss of the housing with the screws.

INSTALLATION
The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order.
