P0562

DTC P0562 SYSTEM VOLTAGE LOW

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

While the ignition switch is OFF, battery positive voltage is supplied to the terminals +B and +B1 of the transmission control ECU.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION

Monitor Strategy:

Typical Enabling Conditions:

Typical Malfunction Thresholds:

The battery supplies electricity to the transmission control ECU even when the ignition switch is OFF. This electricity allows the transmission control ECU to store data such as DTC history, freeze-frame data, fuel trim values, and other data. If the battery voltage falls below a minimum level, the transmission control ECU will conclude that there is a fault in the power supply circuit. At the next engine start, the transmission control ECU will illuminate the MIL and set a DTC.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: Read freeze frame data using hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool, as freeze frame data records the engine conditions when a malfunction is detected. When troubleshooting, it is useful for determining whether the vehicle was running or stopped, the engine was warmed up or not, etc. at the time of the malfunction.
