DTC P0703 BRAKE SWITCH "B" CIRCUIT

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

When the transmission is in gear and the vehicle is stopped, if the brake pedal is depressed (STP switch signal is ON), the gear's neutral shift control will automatically move the shift lever to the N position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: Read freeze frame data using hand-held tester or OBD II scan tool, as freeze frame data records the engine conditions when a malfunction is detected. When troubleshooting, it is useful for determining whether the vehicle was running or stopped, the engine was warmed up or not, etc. at the time of the malfunction.
