Reduce Pressure Inside Accumulator to 0 Bar
REDUCE PRESSURE INSIDE ACCUMULATOR TO 0 BARNOTE: Before removing parts shown below from the body, reduce accumulator pressure.
- HPU assembly
- GSA assembly
- Shift stroke sensor
- Select stroke sensor
- Clutch stroke sensor
- Sub-wire harness
- Transmission assembly
- Clutch disc and cover
a. Make sure the vehicle is in the following condition:
- Shift the lever into the N position
- Ignition switch OFF
- Vehicle is on level surface (no incline)
b. Remove the battery.
c. Remove the R/B No. 3 and J/B No. 3 cover.
d. Remove the HPU relay from the R/B No. 3 and J/B No. 3.
e. Install the battery and connect the battery terminals.
f. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
g. Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tester main switch ON.
h. Select REDUC ACCM PRS on the ACTIVE TEST menu.
i. Check the pressure inside accumulator by using handheld tester.
HINT:
- After this operation, the ACCUMULATOR PRESSURE screen is shown and the amount of the accumulator pressure is 0 bar. The reduction of the accumulator pressure is completed.
- For details, refer to the hand-held tester operation manual.
i. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative terminal.
